Hear something differently? Come up with your own cool variations or customizations of the Atlas’ patches that you’re proud of (BOSS GX/GT compatibility is not a requirement!)? Tell me!
The thinking is that interesting trains of thought, insights, and new perspectives will find themselves into a blog post (anonymous or not, your call) for sharing and further conversation in the Comments.
We’ll see. This whole thing is one big experiment, so let’s see what happens together.

About
Hey. I’m Ted.
Long time musician with a deep curiosity in music, musicians, music tech, the companies and designers behind that tech, the world, people.
Originally from Pittsburgh, I grew up in, and have lived all throughout, New England. I currently live in Rhode Island right on the MA/RI border, about 40 minutes South of Boston (without traffic, 6 to 7 months with). I received my B.A. in Music (Colby College) and my MBA (University of Rhode Island). Married, three children, dog, cats.
Worked in the music tech industry for many years right after college, during what was probably one of the most exciting times to do so (1998-2004). Prior to, I did a tour of duty at Daddy’s Junky Music’s flagship store in Boston (RIP).
I’ve got guitars, basses (so many basses), pedals (SO many pedals), and assorted other odds and ends that do cool things and make cool sounds. Love Logic Pro. Suno, not so much.
I know that you know GAS. You get me. We get each other. I’ve been in recovery for a few minutes now. I’m very proud.
Honestly, the only reason this site exists is because I stumbled into the journey after picking up a BOSS GX-10. As I was working on learning how to drive it, inspiration and curiosity struck in equal measure. I found my explorations both interesting and fun. Figured others might too.
I’m glad you’re here.
DBAD
Only rule I’ve got that I try to hold myself and everybody else to? It’s a simple one.
Don’t Be a Dick.
DBAD.
DBAD to me. DBAD to one another. DBAD to yourself.
It’s pretty amazing how much friction and conflict evaporate when one chooses to not be a dick. </soapbox>
